So as we all know all good movies deserve a squeal. As well as all good books deserve a second book. Word on the street is there is going to be a sequel to The Devil Wears Prada. I hope it comes true, my dreams that is because I love love love loved that movies and I would love to read a second book as well as watch another movie. So ladies keep your eyes peeled, ears open, and fingers crossed. I know I am!

Fashion Advice: Hit and Miss Floral
Flowers can be two things, a hit and a miss.
Now I understand it is summer time and who doesn't love a good floral print. Not to mention the fact that they are being printed on all types of garments. But I have seen some people do it well and others not so much. I am a big fan of floral backpacks and shoes I think they are adorable. For little girls! Although if don't right you can be an young adult and pull it off. But after a certain age to note it is unacceptable. You will turn heads and not in a good way. So I have some tips for you guys. When it comes to shoes and bags don't dress it up or down to much. For example I think a floral pump is sexy! In that summer breeze sipping on some lemonade type of way. Not to go shake your thang at the club. No need for that! But if you wanted to pair that pump with a nice summer dress and do your hair up like the 50's and add a cute little choker necklace go on girl, work! But not with a tight skimpy LBD (little black dress.) Another things would be body awareness. If you are on the plus side florals have the same affect as stripes and patterns, they tend to widen you. So just be careful. This doesn't mean you shouldn't wear them just wear less of them. For example, try a smaller floral print or pattern and if you still think your to WOW add a solid color vest, jacket, etc. To take away from it and show it in more of a pop color.
Good Luck.

Oh my Betsey
Hey!
So I don't know about you guys but I love love love Betsey Johnson. An I am so in love with her nail line featured at Sephora. I was doing a little shopping and when I saw her section I had to try it out. Best thing about this line is that it's Betsey! But the nail polish is inexpensive and get this its scented! Now I'm not talking about that horrible acrylic smell that regular old nail polish has. After you apply the nail polish and allow it to dry you will be amazed. Its a nice aroma and her nail polish is not as strong as most. Another good things would be the colors as well as the design on the bottles. Betsey most certainly did her thing So why don't you do yours an head down to your local Sephora and grab these polishes. Did I mention the colors are so beautiful and shiny?!!!

Summer Make up trends
So what are we seeing out there in the streets?
Women are doing the most simple thing and using tiny bits of make up. For example women are sporting nothing but some foundation and mascara. An exceptional gloss and/or eyeliner. Then on a whole other level women are experimenting with color. Now some are doing pops of color. Which is basically applying a solid vibrant color to the lid. Then their is pigment eyeshadow. A maximum of 3 colors that complement each other.
An lastly Glitter! An this is not just for the eyes but for the lips too. I highly suggest if you choose to follow this trend to carry make up wipes and eye drops. Yes the glitter is suppose to be okay to apply to your eyes BUT yeah It still hurts when it gets in them bad boys.
FYI the video does not belong to me BUT check it out it has a couple more make up trends that you should be seeing soon.
BTW i will get to this eventually-- putting up some how to do's on these make up trends.
ENJOY!!

Fashion Advice: Body Con Dresses
Hey!
--Remi
Taking tribute to the 80's the body con dress has made an amazing come back. Surprisingly it it offered in ALL sizes. Some may say "If you don't have the body don't wear the dress." I mean that could go one or two ways if you think about it. Not a lot of people have the body, so it not exactly fair to say only they can wear it. An for those who do have the body great! Do you girl an show it off because you most likely work hard for that amazing bod! But what about those not so amazing bodies? I have heard this line " Just because they sell it in your size doesn't mean you should buy it." But I strongly believe that if you do this trend right regardless of your size you can rock it successfully. So let me give you some advice. Tights are becoming the new spanks. I say this because there are so many shape sculpting tights out there. At reasonable prices too-- If you have a tummy rocking it in a body con dress can make that little bulge a hell of a lot more noticeable. So try assets, they can be found at target for a great price if you have a low budget. It slims down your stomach and gives you a smooth look. Another thing you can do is add layers. Draw less attention to those troublesome areas by simply hiding them with a long cardigan and a scarf. You could also choose to belt the cardigan an create a hip cinch in your waist, and showcase your breast. With a little bit of thought an small adjustments anyone can wear the body con dress. Of course their are some assumptions when it comes to belting the dress. Most people don't understand that having the right belt works to your advantage. You don't want to showcase your stomach so having a thick spandex belt is only going to create an indent in your fat and give you a not so attractive look. So be careful with that mistake because that it something that I see a lot. Good Luck.

Sparkle and Shine
Bam!
--Remi
All i see is shiny lights, I wonder why? Now this trend has been literally popping up everywhere. It seems as if everything can be bedazzled whether it be glitter, rhinestones, or sequence. Shiny garments are the it thing for a number of reasons. For starters, shine makes a statement on it's own. It could be a big statement or a little one. For example you could have a glittery body con dress or a simple glittered pump. You could also have a sparkled top and throw a blazer over it. This trend is great for a night on the town or a night clubbing with the girls. An a cool plus is that it makes an amazing picture. Got a special occasion coming up that's going to happen at night? Rock some shine and you will be glad you did! (After all it is prom season so I'm sure some lovely ladies would kill to have a blinged out dress.)

Ruffles--Trend Report
Ruffles?
--Remi
Isn't that what little girls wear? Nope they are not the only ones. Ruffles have always been pretty popular in wedding gowns as well as girls clothing. But ruffles are being seen on more and more garments. As well as different areas on the garments. For example ruffled shoulder pads, tail of ruffles, and at the bottom of a shirt. Yes these sound like typical places that you've seen ruffles before but I don't know about you but I have never seen a pretty ruffled garment. Until now, designers are making gorgeous cardigans and tops that have ruffled shoulders. They offer them in various colors as well as fabrics and anyone can wear them. So don't worry about looking to young when wearing ruffles. They can actually make an outfit have great wow factor and still be simple at the same time. Don't be timid to wear ruffles only at weddings, try them in the office. I promise you if done right you could get nothing but compliments. An who doesn't like compliments?!

Lace and Leather
Lace and Leather sounds so sexy together, right?
--Remi
Well it was a hit at L.A. fashion week and I am growing to like it more and more. Its a simple trend and very easy to find and follow. Lace has always been fashionable and comparing it with leather allows you to have an edgy look as well as a sexy one. Now you can combined these two simply by wearing a lace top with a leather jacket. But I enjoyed the looks that went down the runway. Although they were showcased separably they could so make an impact together. I have some pictures for you and I hope you liked them as much as I did. Or at least enough to give this trend a try and see just how sexy you can be. Go on girl!

Liner design gel eye line: LANCOME paris
Check this out!
LANCOME Paris has designed a new gel eyeliner that comes with a double- ended brush. The double ended brush helps to create a more precise line. It also creates a soft smudged line. An the best part is this liner is Long- Lasting! It should be available at all major make up stores and eventually drugstores. But if you really really want it just go to lancome.com and purchase it online. It's a great thing if you have difficulty creating a precious line. So go for it!

Fashion Advice: How to wear prints!
So, prints!
Man these things are POP-ular. I love a good print and I hate seeing prints worn wrong. The biggest thing to know about prints are: You can wear more than one at a time, Sometimes simple is better, and Know the right print for your body type. Here's the thing with wearing more than one print--don't over do it. It's best to wear 2 maximum together. Mainly because they are a lot to look at and could end up being to much for the eye. With that being said, you should wear prints that complement each other. One thing you don't want your prints to do is compete with each other. It can throw off your outfit and can cause people to look at you like "What, is she wearing?" (Not in a good way.) Leading us to our next point--simple is better. A lot of people find prints tricky and stick to pairing them up with a white or black garment. An honestly that's perfectly okay. When you don't know what will go with something, know that neutral colors go with everything. But here is some advice. Let's say your print has some colors in them, why not match the print with one of the colors incorporated. It keeps it fresh and simple. But the print creates the wow factor to your outfit, giving it a pop! An lastly knowing the right print for your body type. Women with larger breast think wearing a print up top is a no no. But that's not true. Try going for a print that is a little bit more constructed and small rather than large and stripped all over. Then add a sweater, jacket or blazer. Make sure they are in a solid color-- a neutral color works great! An belting it is optional but doing so traps the print, it will only show a little bit and will draw less attention to the girls! Or on the other hand if you have a large bottom you might think you can't wear prints either. What you should do in order to wear a printed bottom is really simple. Pair them up with a long blazer or sweater. You can also wear a top that is longer in the back. Don't belt anything because it will make your figure more noticeable. Which in this case isn't good because a print pattern can make things appear larger so your main goal is to reduce the wideness a print can create. Good luck!!!

Chanel Roll n Go Bags
Chanel has done it again! They have created a fun innovative and hands down amazing summer must have. These new bags are strictly for the summer. Made out of nylon material. With the options of Dark blue and orange (to my knowledge-- although their could be more of a color selection.) The special thing about these bags is that they are for the go. You can basically take your Chanel bag roll it up and place it in the nylon zip up bag and take it everywhere you go. It's great for the beach, if you want to be stylish but worry about ruining your handbag. So I don't have any pictures of them but I can promise you that when I get my hands on one I will snap a shot and post it.-- Remi
Fashion: Advice Short Shorts
Do you have that friend who thinks they are the most sexiest women alive? You know the friend who wears her clothes the wrong way! Especially shorts! Now there is nothing more unattractive than a hair butt! So since nice weather is quickly approaching I'd like to give some advice how how to wear short shorts. For starters, understanding your body type is the most important thing. I used to believe that "not everyone can wear short shorts". But I think if you wear them the right way-- anyone can. Next, LOW RISE SHORTS. These shorts don't look pretty on anyone. (if you ask me.) You are already wearing tiny shorts so why expose your butt crack? (Yes it can be a turn on for men, and what women doesn't strive for male approval in their choice of clothing) But butt crack out in the open is pretty embarrassing. If not then why pull your shirt down? Secondly, muffin top is NOT sexy either! Low rise doesn't cover much so it will point out your flaw. On top of that getting them in the wrong size can create muffin top. Another thing about short shorts that I've noticed, is butt cheeks. Women tend to get lose shorts that allow air to circulate but also allow the world to see a little bit of cheeks when they bend over. Hey, nothing wrong with a little bit of skins. But this should be a tease for ONLY your man--I don't want to see it! Now that I have pointed out the deadly flaws of short shorts let me give you some tips on how to wear them successfully.
1. If you choose to let some "booty show" do shave but most importantly add tights. (If your worried about that sexy scandalous vibe get skin tone tights.
2. If you are buying denim make sure you are buying a size that allows your thighs and stomach to breath. Regardless of weight we all have to eat (some get bloated more than others.) Why feel bloated and have on skin tight short shorts? Just Buy the next size up! (I promise it won't kill you.)
3. Short shorts don't have to look like panties. If you are feeling uncomfortable with your weight but want to wear them get them a little longer as long as their covering 1/3 of your thigh they are considered short shorts.
and the last thing is DON'T WEAR LOW RISE SHORT SHORTS!

Fashion Advice: Highwaisted shorts
These little bad boys are on my list of things I can't get enough of. Brought back from the 80's and ready to take over this generation. High waisted shorts have so many options depending on the fabric choice. Back in the day it was mostly seen as denim but now designers have created some very upscale shorts in various fabrics. Lets talk about denim shorts-- I love pairing them with fancy fishnets in different colors and some combat or cowboy boots. (What ever floats your boat, these shorts look adorable in any form of booties), add a crop top, a bold necklace, and a indie jacket (or leather). But many people do this so here's my advice dare to be different. Wear the shorts with a hat (not a baseball hat, snapback, fitted, or fedora) But a nice hat. Add a bright lip, and an interesting top.Throw on some tights and a chunky heel (or the booties-- all on you.) If you feeling bold why not a bow tie (sounds strange well try it-- just loose the hat if you do) But the key to this look is your hair! Your hair can create the outfit (Did you know that?) So leave it out if the hats apart and don't put it on all the way. Allow your bangs to show and it avoids that weird head shape a hat can create as well as "hat hair" Add some loose curls and your good to go! If you choose to wear the bow tie, part your hair in half and make two braids going back (not all the way back, enough to have the bottom half of your hair out) add some loose curls to the bottom half and there you go!

Color: Trend
Mint.Mint.Mint. Is the one of the newest color trends. Many people have been wearing it and the biggest splash this color is making is on the legs. Now colored skinny jeans have been popular for a while but mint has been crowned the color of the spring season so be on the look out for it in all jeans, skirts, and shorts. Now question, how do you where such a light color. It's simple fashion is all about taking risk, so if your second guessing doing this DON'T. Start of by keeping it simple, an wear neutral colors like black or white. These colors go with EVERYTHING!. But if you are like myself and excited with this trend go crazy. Pair is with a loss sheer button up in a lighter or darker shade of mint. Maybe even a nice orange or pink. Just be careful in color choices. You don't want to look like a watermelon. Also if you are feeling to bright add a simple black leather jacket to balance you out. After all those summer nights are chilly!

Fashion Advice: Belts
Fashion is a very cruel world and you must know the essentials. Today's about making bad fashion choices and understand what works for you and what doesn't. Lets talk about belting. Know everyone loves a good belt, and you guys know how much I live for versatile things. A belt can do many things: Hold up your bottom, add a pop color to a simple dress, but most importantly change and create shapes. Not all women are "blessed" with curves so the belt allows them to make their own. Which can easily be successful if done right. Proportions can be a factor when it comes to belting items. For example, if you have a large stomach wearing a skinny belt with the wrong outfit can turn out ugly. As well as wearing a spandex belt that isn't the right size. The key to remember with having a larger mid section is that you DON'T want to draw attention to it. So finding the right width is important. Also positioning of the belt is important to highlight your good assets. If your wondering how to create a shape try belting a long cardigan that should do the trick.

Sexy and Classy Part 1
Did you know that lace will never go out! I mean come on who doesn't love the feeling of sexy when they are wearing lace. Regardless of it being panties and a bra. Today lace is on the radar and it is on so many more garments including heels. Along with straying from its original white and off white colors, it is now seen in almost ever color. The best thing about lace is that its very versatile. You can pair a nice lace dress with some pumps and throw a trench over it, for that sexy vibe. Or you can belt a skirt with a cute little lace tank, to add a little pop to your outfit. So just wanted to remind you that their is always an occasion to rock some lace!

Animal Print
Trend Alert:
Jungle Fever!
Pri nts once again are back!
And who doesn’t love a good old sexy print. If you ask me cheetah is always
something I’d keep in my closet. Now when I say print is trending, I mean print
is trending-EVERYWHERE. Shoes, jewelry, clothing, hair accessories, and even
make-up. So I bet you wondering what I can tell you that you don’t already know.
But I have some tips for you! People tend to wear prints wrong, some even try
to mix match prints. Which is actually okay, if you do it right! (FYI mix
matching prints are in.) Many people don’t understand you need to combined prints
that don’t have to battle with each other. For example why mix a zebra print
with polka dots? Other people get into the habit of over matching their prints.
For instant, if you are wearing cheetah shoes why must you wear a cheetah belt,
bra, headband, purse, and bracelet? If this sounds like you remember the saying,
“Before you leave the house take one thing off.” The most important thing to know is less is
more. But so is keeping it simple. When it comes to print wearing regardless of
if its animal print of texture prints less is more. Think of prints as a little
pop of something extra to tie your look together and add a little bit of sexy.
I mean what is more sexy than a little black dress and some killer print heels!

Here Comes The Bride
Spring is here and
you know what that means, Wedding season! There is nothing more popular than a
spring wedding. Many people have decided this time to be the perfect season to
walk down the aisle and tie the knot. And I don’t blame them; the ice has
defrosted and the flowers are begging to blossom. The up and coming bridal trend is so not
traditional. Generally the bride would
wear a white or ivory gown, but recently
pops of color have been making their way into the designs of wedding gowns.
Trend forecasting predictions indicate that this year blush and pink have
become the new white. Along with that are romantic silhouettes and beautiful
necklines. Along with those are lace
sleeves. Which of course was inspired by the The Royal Wedding?
So if you are getting married soon and still searching for a
gown that will spark up a conversation and leave others jealous with envy
remember this. Show a little leg ( key word a little), try a halter or
spaghetti strap to show off those necklines, and dear to be bold by tossing the
old white gown tradition out the door.

Color Blocking
Oh me, Oh my! What do we have here? Well if you must know Color Blocking is in. Fresh off the runway and into the streets women are creating outfits with loads of color. Which leads to the question, "How do I color block without over doing it?" If you are uncertain of which colors to put together stick to the complimentary colors. You can use a color wheel as a guideline on cool colors. It is very important that you follow this trend with a maximum of three colors any more than you will be over doing it.
