Fahion Advice: Dressing it up or down

Knowing the right thing to wear.

Have you ever been invited more than one event held on the same date? Or have a busy schedule and just don't have the time to go home and change? Or even if you love an item in your closet but you don't think you can wear it for more than one occasion. I have news for you. Accesorising your wardrobe can save you a bundle. No joke, I'm serious. Although I am a shopaholic I understand how to make my closet seem mega large. Okay so lets say you got invited to this business casual party they want you to look sophisticated and well put together. Lets say you've got this cute a line LBD (little black  dress). Throw it on slick your hair back into a pony add light make up and slide on a pair pantyhose and flats. But before you leave the house throw a colored pump into a bag, a clutch, a leather jacket, a banging ring, and some lipstick and eyeliner. Now when the party is over your girls want to have a "girls night out", no biggie. Kick off those flats, slide out of those pantyhose and put on those pumps. Go to the nearest bathroom or even to your car and apply your make-up (please don't drive and apply.) Let your hair lose from its pony and shake it a little, giving it that "I just woke up out of bedhair". Then lastly as you get out the car grab your cluth and put on that leather jacket. And there you have it two looks for two different parties. Mission Accomplished.

Today my class gave presentations on clothing of the world and this article of clothing really took my eye.

Kente Cloth- Woven Pattern

The Kente Cloth has been out for centuries and it is making a splash in designers inspiration today. It is weaving showcased in West Africa. Although the trend isn't actual weaved garments its still breath taking. It is very popular in various forms of clothing. I'm a big fan on prints and definitively think some people will like this print. I mean who doesn't enjoy a beautiful print, right?
